Super Fix

With the health and wellbeing of your fish in mind, Fish Care Australia set out to create a superior product to existing, ineffective alternatives. Some of which can actually harm your fish or damage your tanks ecology.  

All of Our products are made and formulated in Australia from pure locally sourced ingredients.
Super Fix has been tested to be safe for use on a wide variety of freshwater species and can help in assisting your aquatic animals in healing the following:

• Ich (or itch)/White spot
• Fin Rot
• Hole in the Head
• Sunken Belly Disease
• Fungus
• internal parasites
• Columnaris
• Wasting illnesses
• Damaged fins
  

Safe to use with: American Cichlids, African Cichlids, Tetras, Guppies, Mollys, Plattys, Catfish, Corys, South American Cichlids, Peacock Bass, Clown Loaches and fish that are closely related to the above mentioned species. 
Super Fix contains DNA protecting properties that have an anti-mutagenic effect that is known to help reduce tumours. Anti-Bacterial, Anti-Fungal, Anti-Microbial, Anti-inflammatory and it also acts as a mild growth booster.
Super Fix can be used in a wide variety of ways, such as: Reduction of fish loss in commercial aquariums, assisting fish in self worming, improving fish immune systems and treatment of display stock to reduce fish stress. 

Although we really do want to tell you all what is in Super Fix, We are in the position where we have to keep it a secret, at least until we are legally protected by a patent. 

Here's what we can say: Super Fix is made by combining purified plant extracts with ingredients that you will find in two separate products, Melaleuca Cajeput oil & Pimento Racemosa Oil. FCA also removed a known carcinogen that is commonly used as an emulsifier and replaced it with a safe active ingredient that acts as a slime coat for your fish.

Known sensitivities: Caridina shrimp varieties & NQ Algae shrimp, not recommended to dose Super Fix in aquariums with these shrimp.

Caution when using with Labyrinth fish, do not exceed a 20% of the recommended daily dose.
A Customer has confirmed for us that it is safe for use with Sting rays, although we urge you to use caution when using Super Fix and to closely observe your animals, when in doubt, siphon enough water into a secondary hospital tank with untreated water, just in case you a bad reaction occurs as you will be able to quickly swap the your Sting Ray over provided you have prepared the hospital vessel/aquarium with some filtration and heating. This is of course for worst case scenario, as we are aware that some exotic fish have $5000+ price tags. 

Super Fix has not been tested on Turtles, please use with caution.

WARNING: Super Fix contains a highly concentrated mixture. DO NOT exceed the maximum recommended dosage.

Preparing for treatment:

When commencing treatment ensure that you have an air stone in the tank with sufficient air flow, turn off all UV filters and remove activated charcoal/carbon from your filters. TURN OFF AQUARIUM LIGHTING.

SHAKE WELL BEFORE USE

Recommended Dosage: 1ml per 40L (9 gallons) or 5ml per 200L (52 gallons)Smaller sensitive Fish: Begin with a 25% dose or 1ml per 160L
Larger Fish: Begin with 50% dose or 1ml per 80L
Guppies/Mollies/Plattys: Begin with 50 or 100% dose or 1ml per 40L

If your fish experience flashing, itching against substrates, this can reduced by mixing up your medication dose into 1000ml of tank water and pouring the mix in evenly.

By day 3 increase dose to recommended dose of 1ml per 40L(9 gallons)
(Unless treating a fish that has known sensitivities).

You may notice the fish begin to breathe heavily this is normal.
Perform a 25% water change every third day

Max Dosage for tested species:

Discontinue use after 14 days, after a 14 day rest period medication use can be resumed.
Dosing can be safely continued for up to 21 days if a weekly water change of 30-50% is completed.
